Livermore Valley Wine Country Events The Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship
April 3rd - April 6th 2008
The 2008 Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship will be held April 3rd - April 6th, 2008 at The Course at Wente Vineyards in the Livermore Valley Wine Country. TNote, this is the only PGA TOUR Nationwide Tour event in Northern California. As an event presented by the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation, Tournament proceeds will be contributed to children's charities in the local community. California Independent Film Festival
Dates - TBD 2008
Hosted by Livermore Valley Wine Country. This event is the Bay Area's very own Sundance film festival, filmmakers compete to be one of the only 100 independent films shown at this event. The five-day festival includes VIP receptions, filmmaker gatherings, special wine tastings, celebrity appearances, film viewings and Q&A's and world premieres. Intense competition results in Festival Awards for best films, screenplays, student films, animations, music videos and documentaries.
Livermore downtown theaters will serve as event venues for the film viewings this year. Special events and receptions will be held at The Steven Kent Winery and in the Wente Vineyards Tasting Room on Arroyo Road.

Livermore Valley's Wine & Food Experience
“A Taste of Terroir”

Wine and food enthusiasts joined our local winemakers and chefs for a delectable wine and food experience showcasing our region's magnificent wines and grand cuisine. 18 of our Valley’s wineries partnered with 18 local restaurants to create innovative food and wine pairings capturing the terroir of our region. Guests cast their votes for the best wine and food pairing in the Valley and enjoyed an elaborate dessert bar paired with port wines from Livermore Valley. Guests also enjoyed music on the patio, cooking demonstrations, an olive oil bar, and more!

This event is co-presented by the Tri-Valley Conservancy and the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association.

The 2007 26th annual Harvest Wine Celebration, our annual fundraising event, attracted thousands of wine and food lovers for a weekend of wine, food and fun.

An Annual wine country tradition, Holidays in the Vineyards, celebrates the season with a weekend full of holiday cheer. All of the wineries present special wines, music, arts & crafts, gifts, and warm holiday experiences for your family and friends to enjoy. Award winning wines are offered along with gourmet foods, unique gift boxes, and holiday treats.
